The files in this directory contain the MS-DOS program Multiscale, its
manual in PostScript form, and the figures in the manual as .bmp files.

The manual in both PostScript and .pdf form, along with the figures,
are also in WinZipped form in the file manual.zip.

This version of Multiscale also permits the analysis of preference and
direct rating data along with dissimilarity or similarity data, and is
accompanied by a manual, Multiscale: Extended Version available
from the author.  The mail address is

The program is in file multiscl.exe, and should be transmitted in
binary mode.

The easiest way of getting the manual and its figures for Windows users
is by getting the WinZip file manual.zip.

The figures in the manual are also in the files with .bmp extension, and
should be transmitted in binary mode.  The first digit of each of these
files corresponds to the chapter number in the manual (a corresponds to
10), and the subsequent digits to the number of the figure within the
chapter.
